Welcome to this specialization about privacy and standardisation,

We are thrilled to see that you are interested and will provide you with a comprehensive study of the intriguiging subject of privacy and standardisation in the context of technological innovation. Privacy in the Western World is best taken before the other privacy courses, because it provides the concepts for Privacy in the USA and Privacy in Europe. The Capstone requires that you only start if you have followed all other courses; you need the knowledge of the other courses to complete the assignments, from standardisation to all privacy courses. If you already have prior knowledge regarding the courses, please test your knowledge in the last graded quiz to see if you have everything covered. If you have all relevant knowledge and insights, the capstone offers you the ultimate challenge.

This specialisation is part of a blended program, a double degree online program of about 30 EC (European Credit of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). Although the ECs are only provided in the context of that program, the aim of the specialisation is to provide a similar course content and learning outcomes as offered on campus, and therefore, if you aim to have your efforts and certificate rewarded with ECs, please contact prof. Jan Smits or the university (TU/e) to get the exam committee to reward you your EC.s
